

ANALYST
PROGRAM
The SPEX Analyst Program is an intensive 8-week training program that exposes analyst to industries in business/finance where an understanding of politics is crucial. Analysts leave with the financial, political, economic, and professional skills to enable their own career exploration.
Eligibility: Freshmen and Sophomores
Duration: Fall or Spring semester (8 weeks)
Time Commitment: ~10 hours per week
Curriculum
Industries: Equity & Fixed Income Research, Sales & Trading (commodities), Asset Management
Skills & Knowledge: Accounting, Corporate Finance, Valuation, Portfolio Management, Trading Strategies, Macroeconomic Indicators, Fiscal/Monetary Policy and the FED, etc.
Post-Workshop
Continued Involvement: E-Board positions, SPEX political media host/researcher, SPEX Research Journal editor and contributor, Analyst Program lead and mentor, and future programs
Mentorship: Graduates will gain access to mentorship from the SPEX community with upperclassmen and alumni in top firms across multiple competitive industries.
